Information you provide

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, topic, and message you submit. A Founding Rider application may also include your location, motorcycle, social media handle, riding story, and the permissions you select. Please do not submit medical records or other sensitive health information.

Community emails

If you choose to join the TBTB Community, we collect your email address, optional first name, signup source, consent date, and subscription status. We use that information to send merchandise-drop alerts, new resources, ride and event updates, partnership news, and other updates about Throttle Before the Bottle.

Community emails are optional and are not required to make a purchase. Checkout subscribers are added only after a successful payment, using the email entered at Stripe Checkout. Every community email will provide an unsubscribe option. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.

Shop and payments

Stripe hosts checkout and processes the contact, shipping, and payment information entered there under its own privacy policy. Throttle Before the Bottle can access the resulting order and fulfillment information through Stripe, but this website does not receive or store full card details.

Essential storage

The site uses an essential session cookie to protect forms and checkout requests from forgery. The shop saves cart contents in your browser's local storage so the cart can persist between page visits. Neither is used for advertising.

Server information

Like most websites, the hosting server may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, request time, and pages requested for security, abuse prevention, and operational purposes. Short-lived rate-limit records are stored outside the public website.

Advertising and analytics

The site does not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics. This notice will be updated if those services are added.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell or rent community subscriber information. We may use service providers that help operate the website, process payments, host data, or deliver email, and they may process information only as needed to provide those services. Subscriber records are kept while a subscription is active and afterward only as reasonably necessary to honor unsubscribe requests, maintain consent records, protect the site, and comply with legal obligations.
