This website is provided for general information about the Throttle Before the Bottle brand, mission, merchandise, and community.

Products and checkout

Prices and availability are shown in U.S. dollars and may change before an order is placed. Payment and address collection are securely hosted by Stripe. An order is accepted only after Stripe confirms successful payment.

Backorders

Products marked “On Backorder” are not ready for immediate shipment. By ordering a backordered product, you acknowledge that fulfillment may be delayed. Updates will be sent to the email address used at checkout.

Shipping

Orders are currently shipped within the United States. Standard shipping is $4.99. Merchandise orders with a subtotal of $50 or more qualify for free standard shipping. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.

Shipping and fulfillment times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, carrier delays, and whether an item is marked as backordered. Tracking information may be provided when available.

Returns and refunds

Returns of unused, unworn, and undamaged merchandise may be requested within 30 days of delivery. Returned merchandise must be in substantially the same condition in which it was received.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by law or when the return results from an error by Throttle Before the Bottle.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned merchandise has been received and reviewed. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items

If an order arrives damaged, defective, or contains the wrong item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We may request photographs or other information to help verify the issue. When appropriate, Throttle Before the Bottle may provide a replacement, refund, or other reasonable resolution at no additional shipping cost to the customer.

Order cancellations

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before shipment. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled and must instead be handled through the return process described above.

To request a cancellation, return, refund, or report a problem with an order, please use our contact form and include the email address used at checkout along with any relevant order details.

Taxes

Applicable sales tax may be calculated and collected during checkout based on the customer’s shipping address, the type of merchandise purchased, and applicable tax laws and registrations. Tax calculations may be provided through Stripe Tax.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. Throttle Before the Bottle does not receive or store customers’ complete payment card numbers. Payment processing is also subject to Stripe’s applicable terms, policies, and privacy practices.

Order acceptance

Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance. Throttle Before the Bottle reserves the right to cancel or refund an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving pricing errors, inventory issues, suspected fraud, payment problems, or circumstances that make fulfillment impracticable.

Intellectual property

Brand names, original graphics, site design, written content, logos, merchandise artwork, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Throttle Before the Bottle unless otherwise stated. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without permission except where permitted by law.

Third-party services

This website may rely on third-party services for payment processing, hosting, shipping, communications, analytics, or other operational functions. Throttle Before the Bottle is not responsible for interruptions, outages, or actions of independent third-party providers beyond its reasonable control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Throttle Before the Bottle will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or the purchase or use of merchandise. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated as the business, website, merchandise offerings, or applicable requirements evolve. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
